Like all carers, we provide the basics.
Like all carers, we provide the basics. This often means things like showering, cooking, helping with simple household tasks. We believe that even these simple tasks can be done with creativity and imagination and can be joyful moments in themselves.
However, we’re about much more than the basics of aged care.
There is also so much more than the basics that can be done at home to create moments of joy. Discovering what works for each client is our sweet spot and is what personally brings us the most joy.
At-Home Experiences
Like all carers, we provide the basics. This often means showering, cooking, and helping with simple household tasks. We believe that even these simple tasks can be done with creativity and imagination through a thorough understanding of the client.
We also know that there is so much more than the basics that can be done at home to create moments of joy.
Family Hub
Our loved ones often used to be at the heart of the family and community but over time can easily become less ‘part of it’. Naturally, keeping in touch with family and friends can provide a wonderful source of joy for both the client and their family.
Hospital/Respite To Home
Being discharged after a stay in hospital or period in a respite home often requires far more than just a lift home. We liaise with the hospital or respite home, and can arrange most things for a smooth homecoming.
Out of Home Experiences
There are so many opportunities for joyful experiences to be found by getting out and about. Of course, for many a simple grocery trip or a lift to an appointment, is all that is wanted, but we’ll always look for an opportunity to try something a bit different!
