Our loved ones often used to be at the heart of the family and community but over time can easily become less ‘part of it’. Naturally, keeping in touch with family and friends can provide a wonderful source of joy for both the client and their family.
Tech Set-Up
Your Mojo carer can be a catalyst for family comms. Technology can be a barrier but also can be our friend. We can set up a tablet or whatsapp group if they don’t have that already. It’s amazing how even the most un-tech-savvy client can learn the basics when the incentive is pics of the grandkids!
Video Updates
A video message, a Zoom call or even an old school postcard to family members, sent from a trip or excursion is a lovely way to stay connected.
Birthday Cards
A source of embarrassment for many clients is forgetting birthdays or not being able to send a card for whatever reason. We can help with that. With maybe a nice touch of an old-school banknote falling out of a birthday card for a grandkid?
